There is no reason to be tied to your gaming console. Wherever you have your gaming console installed, you are typically tied to that one area because of that darned cord that goes from your controller to the console box. How would you like to have the freedom and maneuverability to sit wherever you want, even half way across the room, and still be able to play your games?
With some type of wireless control, you are no longer limited by any cords. Of course, your gaming console will depend on which type of wireless controller you get. There are really no universal controllers out these as each gaming system has their own proprietary type of technology. Of course, you can buy brands other than your gaming console brand that are compatible with it. For instance, if you have a Microsoft Xbox gaming console, you would likely purchase Xbox wireless controllers right? But what if another brand like the Logitech wireless Xbox controller was on sale and the other wireless Xbox controllers were not? Go ahead and get the Logitech brand. They are just as reliable as the X Box wireless controller. If you had a Sony Playstation, you would, of course, want to try and get a compatible wireless controller for it. It would depend on which version of this console you have as to which one you should get. For instance, if you still have the original Playstation console, you would want to buy the Playstation 1 wireless controllers. If you had a Playstation 2, of course you would purchase the PS2 wireless controller. For Playstation 2, there are a few games that require special controllers. For instance, the Guitar Hero game requires the Guitar Hero wireless controller that is literally shaped like a guitar. For other games, you could try the Freedom Pad wireless controller. It’s got the latest bells and whistles and boasts a 2.4 GHz RF technology. Of course, extras are abundant for the Xbox wireless controller too. For instance, there is the wireless Xbox controller with Bluetooth capability by Hip Gear. It comes integrated with the headset and you will notice no lag time between playing games and talking. The Xbox wireless i Glow controller literally glows in the dark and has the latest 2.4 GHz technology. For the really serious gamers, you could invest in a wireless Xbox controller memory card. With this, you could store your custom wireless controller settings, characters, special weapons, saved game levels and more. You can even use your wireless Xbox controller on your Windows based pc too! As you can see, there are a plethora of choices in regards to the wireless controller. You are only hampered by how much you want to spend for certain bells and whistles. |
